Aims of the network:

The bionanonetwork has been established to coordinate the research activities within the MacDiarmid Institute, forming a suitable communication environment for research personal involved in activities related to the application of physical science techniques to biological systems, including the areas of biotechnology and bio-nanomedical engineering. The central aims of the network are to increase exchange of experience and skills, to ensure an efficient resource utilisation/distribution, to enhance access to external funding, and to facilitate student training and exchange.
